I have had the pleasure of loosely following Deja Bryson's career from the time she was a student in a music program at the University of California Berkeley. The 1st thing impressed me was when she told me she was a singer and I said "Let me hear something." Deja didn't hesitate to sing on the spot. Since that time I've witnessed this budding songstress blossom into what can now be heard on this track. Deja truly is "just a woman" and embodies this with class in her lyrics, delivery, and presentation (should you ever see a live performance). As a fellow Bay Area native i think it safe to say that this is a welcomed resurrection of class back into the R&B genre.
