Shoulda been Nash The SMASH !!!

While I agree that Black Noise is phenomenal,to sell this record short is a mistake.It's just a different approach,admittedly right up the 'commercial' river,but great nonetheless.If you hear 'Just Like You' and DON'T think it could've been a Top Ten record (and NOT just in Canada) then your tin ear needs a cleaning.Cameron Hawkins is a GREAT singer,Martin Dellar a perfect beat man,and,well,there's Nash ,now isn't there? This should've made them rich rock stars.THAT'S the only shame about this record.


Finally, some FM & Nash the Slash on iTunes. Of course, very few people know who either one is, but to those who do, it's a true gem of past years' music.

Not their best

I love FM, but this is my least favorite of their albums. Even their live album is better (actually, it's quite good, if you can find it). iTunes needs to get Black Noise, Surveillance and City of Fear. I would give all of those albums 5 stars. Not a clunker in the bunch.

The progressive rock group known as FM formed in Toronto, Canada, in 1976. The band began life as a duo as Cameron Hawkins supplied keyboards, vocals, and bass and Jeff Plewman -- aka the mysterious, bandage-swathed Nash the Slash -- added vocals, violin, and an electric mandolin.
