Album Review

Modern folk duo guitarist Dave Carter and violinist Tracy Grammer first paired up on this 1998 release, When I Go. Apparent from the start is the pair's sensitive interplay and pristine sound. While a bit thinner-sounding than Tanglewood Tree, the album is no less charming, featuring Carter's signature enigmatic tales of rural life and Grammer's yearning violin sound. Re-released in 2002.

Dave Carter--

This dude is a stud. He's my old english teacher. He played his songs for us. Tap that suckaaas.

Although having served stints in psychedelic rock bands, as well as being a classical pianist in piano bars, more than anything, Carter has used his experience...
