Finally an album worth buying!!!!

This album doesnt have a bad song on it. From the beginning of "Outside of me" to the end of "Here With Me" is an amazing journey. MIKESCHAIR has found a good balance between radio friendly songs and songs that push the edge. "Fight The Feeling" is a song you wouldnt expect from a christian band, the production is sick and full of surprises. One of my favorites is "Let the Waters Rise", that song is epic and life changing. There will always be haters, but this album has something for everyone. So far this is my pick for best album from a new band this year.

Buy, Buy, Buy

Sweet album, powerful lyrics and great music. A must buy. -broctown

A Great Debut

I first hear MIKESCHAIR on the local Way FM station where I live. I was instantly hooked on "Can't Take Away." I unfortunately missed them when they came to my town for a concert. The first few songs of this album aren't very impressive. They're not horrible songs; I can tell that much time went into creating them, but MIKESCHAIR's style doesn't fully show until "Can't Take Away." The next few tracks are pure gold, except for "Silhouette." The change of pace that "Silhouette" brings at that stage in the album just didn't set very well with me. It threw off my groove. Don't get me wrong, all of these tracks are great, but I give this album four stars, instead of five, because MIKESCHAIR didn't quite nail the flow. As Christian pop goes, this really is a good album. I have enjoyed listening through it a few times, and I don't anticipate it going away anytime soon.

They self-released an eponymous debut while still sophomores in 2004, but did not begin to get national exposure until after their college years. In 2007, they teamed with Plumb...
