one word--CLASSIC

A great album lyrically and production wise...a great album and a way to get away from mainstream rap....I can'gt wait till Justus League becomes the dynasty of rap because than we will see the return of real hip hop. Phonte makes a huge statement in "Back at It" telling everyone he is the best, in which he is....this is a statement album for the league and will hopefully go 129423492848x platinum

I thought....

I thought this album was going to be some inspiring ish, but instead it's some beautiful beats overrun by more wannabe "gangsta" bs. Basically, everyone says a whole lot of nothing. I've already had 10 helpings of this dish and I'm not hungry anymore. Seems to me 9th, khrysis and the others are just wasting their beats on the same same. Do you want to be part of the future or keep droppin yesterdays themes? Wheres Little Brother? Murs? Jean Grea? You've got a grip of revolutionary artists with real "new business" feel but this is full of people stuck in the groove. Grow up. No one cares about the drama. These beats are too good for you. 10 for the beats. 1 for the lyrical content.

Seek out Justus

We get back to well executed Hip-Hop colabs anytime the Justus League presides. As usual, 9th Wonder is in the house and serves up some heavy-hittin, no-fakin, true school beats. Big Pooh, The Away Team, Tiggalo, Chaundon and friends spit mad game on top of some of the best beats in Hip-Hop. This ain't you daddy's dirty-south, crunked out, monotone sh*#....This is a good record by an important cast of emcees and beatmakers. With Dilla gone (RIP), look for The Hall of Justus to keep hip-hop moving in the right direction. Not their best, but a keeper just the same. Check out The Foreign Exchange, Cesar Comanche, and the Median EP for Justus League perfection! Keep Bouncing

Formed: North Carolina

Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap

Years Active: '00s

When North Carolina underground rap group Little Brother debuted in 2003 with their strongly soul-flavored hip-hop album The Listening, it provided a platform for the other members of their Justus League collective to gain exposure. Little Brother's road manager, Big Dho, saw the need to upgrade his business duties in order to develop more of the Justus League's talent and more efficiently manage the growing popularity of Little Brother as well as the increasing demand for the collective's main producers,...
