Never misses

Great voice & great guitar. The old story "she plays like a man."
And for a good long time she's had the gutsy voice to carry it.

Rory hit the "big time" back in '96 or '97 when she won her first Handy. Almost missed the handoff as I recall. Ever since that time, she's turned out nothing but gems for albums. The last several are part of a Mentor Series. About the only one I don't have in entirety is the Gary Davis disk and many of her earlier ones, if that counts for anything. Its fine acoustic blues, which of course you'll figure out from the sampling.
