Album Review

In a way, it's ironic that an album entitled Keith Sweat is crammed with guest stars, thereby attracting attention away from the man himself. No matter. Sweat turns in a typically stylish and sophisticated set of urban soul and new jack swing, all highlighted by his silky singing. Sweat's main talent is for smooth ballads, and Keith Sweat is filled with excellent selections, including the seductive "Come with Me," which features guest vocals by Ronald Isley. The album does bog down a bit with uneven material, but its high points are as captivating as any of Sweat's previous work.

Long live Keith!

The other R&B soulmaster next to Luther Vandross. This album was released in 1996, and the quality shows. 3 major hits are on this album: Twisted (track 1), "Just a Touch" (track 5), and "Nobody" (track 11), the ultimate love song. If you dislike love and passion, then this album isn't for you. While i own all his albums, this one is still my favorite of them all. So drag out the ol' credit card and get this ablum now! Trust me, you will not regret it!!!

Classic

keith sweat has always been a favorite of mine...and this album was definately signifigant in my teen/discovering music years 10 years ago. I love the entire album (reminds me of being in 10th grade again) and it isn't only filled with the radio hits like "twisted" and "nobody" — which is one of my all-time favorite songs ever; it's also got some rnb songs that are really THAT good, like "Funky Dope Lovin" and "Yumi." Don't pass this one up.
