Under the radar

Wow...where'd this record come from??? Definitely one of the most original albums I've heard in a long time. Spontaneous, melodic and raw. Work of saws just seems to casually put down whatever song comes to mind, and it sounds amazing. And with an album consisting of 44 tracks, they obviously aren't trying to fit into any typical indie rock mold. Me like.

GREATEST ALBUM EVER

This CD is probally the greatest band ive ever heard (besides the basic stuff). Sounds like it was the things that actually come to mind during life. Extremely well CD

Bred on the healthy pop influences of XTC and Richard Davies, Minneapolis' Work of Saws was initially conceived as a hobby project of singer/guitarist Brock Davis. Using a beat up tape recorder, Davis began compiling hundreds of one- to two-minute "songlets" that ran the stylistic gamut, including country-pop vignettes, playful punk/pop ditties, and Brill Building-inspired pop songs.
