About Zombie Nation

The mysterious dance outfit Zombie Nation is comprised of a pair of DJs, who go by the aliases of Splank and Mooner, both of whom hail from Munich. The duo first signed to DJ Hell's label, International Deejay Gigolo, before moving on to Ministry of Sound's Data label. Zombie Nation issued the track "Kernkraft 400" several times as a remix during 1999 and 2000. By 2000, Mooner was gone and Splank was using his birth name, Florian Senfter. Senfter released the "Blood Angels" track under the John Starlight pseudonym in 2001 then returned to work as Zombie Nation in 2003 with the album Absorber. More John Starlight singles were released thouroughout 2004 and 2005, then in 2006 the Zombie Nation album Black Toys appearead along with the successful single "Booster". ~ Greg Prato
