Not quite cookies, but an excellent sophomore effort.

1990s kick a*s, and this album shows no sign of slowing down. Its not the pure tartan pop genius of the first album, but its still one of the best things to come out this year.

Some great tracks, but no Cookies

I adored 1990s first album and love every track. So I was expecting great things from their second effort, and though I'm not exactly disappointed, for me, Kicks is not even close to as good as Cookies. That said, Kicks has some great tracks, it just doesn't have the consistently great songs of their first album. My favorite track is The Box, which has been part of their live show for some time, and I also recommend Vondelpark, Kickstrasse and the hilarious Everybody Please Relax. Good effort, and still miles better than a lot of the crap people call music, but maybe they just set the bar too high with Cookies.

1990s do it again!

This album is an outstanding addition to their already famous 'Cookies'. The sounds are a bit slower, and a bit more conventional, meaning that this album is more tame than the last. But, they still keep you up and moving!
