iTunes Review

At nearly 40, perennial country partyboy Luke Bryan’s still out for fun, but he also sounds like he's rethinking what that word means. Following what he says is the last of his Spring Break EPs, Kill the Lights opens with the backroads rallying cry of “Kick the Dust Up” and follows with the Hall & Oates-style slink of the title track before settling into “Strip it Down,” a ballad about marital romance that doubles as a metaphor for simplicity: “We both know that we lost it somehow / Let’s get it found / Strip it down.”

Luke

This music is very well put together. Well done!

This is not country music

I get tired of the hip hop beat and the fact that you have one banjo in the background does not make it country. What happen steel guitars and fiddles? What happen to cowboys and rodeos? I got into Luke when he came to Memphis, but the more I listen the more I cringe. The spring break stuff is the closest I've seen him do anything relatively country.

Great album and songs

I love this album can't wait to see all the videos for all the songs .Strip it down I can't get enough love the video. I love u luke!!

Singer and songwriter Luke Bryan comes by his country influences naturally: he grew up in Leesburg, Georgia, a small town 100 miles from the Alabama border where his father grew peanuts and sold fertilizer for a living.
