At long last I can get this album in iTunes

This is a true classic in Christian metal for one of the early innovators in the genera. The tracks are all really good and total rock.

This is how it all began!

The debute record is raw and rough, but it sure captures the energy of Bloodgood!

A great Christian metal band! Bloodgood's self titled debut hits hard with 80's era hard rock/metal featuring amazing lead vocals from Les Carlsen and killer guitar work from David Zaffiro. The drummer is a bit lame but gets the job done in headbanging style -they replaced him for their next album "Detonation". Great lyrics and an overall cohesive feel brings the whole album together. Highly recommended. My fave tracks are "What's Following The Grave", a creepy power ballad, and "Black Snake" which is an all out thrasher's delight.

Bloodgood toured steadily throughout the decade, releasing Metal Missionaries, a cassette demo EP, in 1985...
