Classic 80s metal with a positive message

While Stryper played the pop side of Chritian metal, BC grabbed listeners by the throat and roughed up the edges to create searing metal attacks on each disc. Atomic Arena is probably their high point with great tunes like Imaginary Music and Living Dead being personal faves. Make sure you know what you're getting before you buy...this isn't for everyone. Old school HMers have been paying top dollar for this on ebay for years

Child Of 80's Metal

I know there are some who could argue the huge "Iron Maidian" influence. But I can listen to both bands and see a difference!! These guys are very tight Metal band that all who listen will here some very melodic loud guitars and some great vocals. This album is for all hard rockers and not just the christian rockers!!

A "must have" metal album!!

This album first turned me on to Christian metal. In my opinion they leave Stryper in the dust (and I do like Stryper). The lead singer has an incredible, powerful voice. Although this came out in the late 80's the lyrics are relevant even today (ex. "Terrorist Child)". The guitar work is great. The beat is fast and heavy but the band never loses a sense of melody. This band is a "diamond in the ruff". It's too bad they never reached a wider audience. Buy it! You wont be dissapointed.

Formed in late 1983 by singer/guitarist Mike Lee, guitarist Ray Parris, bassist Jim LaVerde, and drummer Steve Whitaker, Barren Cross rehearsed assiduously before performing their first concert six months later at, of all places, a home for juvenile delinquent girls. Shortly thereafter, the boys used...
