iTunes Review

When this Cash Money winner readies an album, he puts up the velvet rope and only A-list spitters are allowed in the vocal booth. The producer/DJ/radio personality’s first full-length since 2011’s We the Best Forever starts like most of his tracks—with Khaled snarling his name—and then a triumphant beat painted with sirens sets the stage for MMG’s Meek Mill to “Shout Out the Real.” The next few tracks are like a star-studded award show, with appearances by Lil Wayne and T.I. (who stunt on “Bitches & Bottles”), Kanye West and Rick Ross (who deliver merciless bars on “I Wish You Would”), and Chris Brown (who joins Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne on the drum-stuttering leaner “Take It to the Head”). Kiss the Ring’s guest list is mindboggling. It’s like a mixtape where the DJ blends verses from the hottest rappers—except these are all original raps. Among the street-hardened cuts is a collaboration with Scarface, Nas, and DJ Premier (“Hip Hop”), and there are also appearances by 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, J Cole, and more.

Why people give credit to dj Khaled.

I hate how everyone gives Dj Khaled a lot of credit, on this album. All he did was got rappers and producers to make a song the album. The only good song on this album is "Hip Hop" at least he got two MC's and great producer on that song.

kendrick and nas

i just love it when i see (feat. kendrick lamar) or (feat. nas)

Meh

Only good tracks are They Ready (feat. J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T. & Kendrick Lamar) and Hip Hop (feat. Scarface, Nas & DJ Premier)
