This is the first album of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. While I would agree that it may not be their best album, anyone who rates this album below four stars has no taste in Rock Music. This group was one of the best in their genre, right up there with Pink Floyd.

One of the greatest debut albums

Most bands take a few albums to find their sound and really gel. ELP is one of the few that was at full stride right out of the gate. There are really only a handful of bands whose first effort sounds as good as almost any other in their repertoire. ELP is one of those groups.
