Awesome

This one is even better than Tervaskanto - it is just as catchy but heavier. Check out the opening song as an example. It keeps the folk music elements intact (played at lightning speed) but adds metal guitar work that stands more on its own - rather than being hidden in the rhythm section - when compared to prior releases. If you like Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly and Gogol Bordello, but want something a little faster and more metal, you cannot go wrong with this! Hopefully, these Finns will be touring the US soon.

King of the Woods

Korpiklaani are back! The Finnish folk metal gods give a satisfying and consistent offering. The music here does not differ much from their previous releases, but continues on in their legacy. Good, uproarious songs to kick back with a pint of ale. The album details the lives of Finnish loggers and fits well with their other material. Little development and growth from other albums, but a solid continuation of the sound and feeling that has and continues to endear fans to them. Well recommended for fans new and old.

Amazing!

If your into folk/rock hybrid bands like Flogging Molly or Gogol Bordello, and you like metal, check these guys out! This is the most fun I've had listening to a band in ages! I just wish I understood the lyrics so I could sing along.
