This is good stuff!

Katie Thompson is amazing!!!! Purchase What's Love Got to Do With It and It Doesn't Hurt.I promise you this will be money well spent.

You'll love KT's voice!

Katies voice is magic! I have been a fan for several years now, and I can't wait to see what she does next! The great thing about this album is that it's LIVE! She really sounds this way- no studio tricks- or anything like that. Sample her songs- "Do You", "Stay", "Fall At Your Feet" and her version of Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It". You'll fall in love!

KT Live

If the true measure of an artist is found in their live shows, Katie Thompson’s new disc proves that she’s a bona fide superstar. Her 2006 release KT Live is comprised of performances recorded throughout 2005 in addition to two studio recordings (“It Doesn’t Hurt” and “What Turns You On”) that find Thompson at her bluesy best as she soars through a host of favorites (some classic, some new). Accompanied only by her piano, she more than ably covers the Bangles (with a scorching version of “Eternal Flame”), Tori Amos, and Tina Turner (ripping through “What’s Love Got to Do With It”) in addition to offering renditions of songs from her 2001 debut What I’ve Done Right and other original compositions. Over the course of 19 tracks, she proves her mettle as a powerful singer, uncompromising songwriter, engaging performer, and deft arranger. Highlights include (but are certainly not limited to) “What Turns You On”, the eye-popping “Blue April Moon”, “It Doesn’t Hurt”, “Do You”, and “Stay.” This is music as it’s meant to be: raw, passionate, intimate, and brimming with urgency.
