Album Review

The seventh studio album from influential dance producer ATB, Future Memories is perhaps his most experimental effort to date, adding a harder-edged drum'n'bass sound to his trademark progressive trance. Like his previous double LP Trilogy, its first disc is packed with uptempo floor-fillers, while the second disc focuses on more ambient downtempo tracks. This 2009 release features vocal contributions from Josh Gallahan, Haley Gibby, and Betsie Larkin, and includes a cover of Everything But the Girl's "Missing" alongside singles "What About Us," "L.A. Nights," and "Behind." ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

The Best ATB Album!!!!

I don't write reviews very often but this one I have to comment. I love this album it has everything I love about dance music. André has out done himself this time. André again enlisted Tiff Lacey and Madelin Zero to lend their vocals to his great work. Both singers are able to blend perfectly to the electric sound. The highlights on this album for me are Swept Away, My Everything, Gravity, Behind, and the beautiful remake of Everything But The Girls -"Missing". There is no need to wait, please buy this album you will not be disappointed.

Good album, but not at the top of his game!

I love ATB, and have followed his albums closely since Two Worlds came out, and I'm not sure how I feel about this album. All his of trademark characteristics are there, but the first single released, "What About Us" seems slightly manic. But I wish his luck regardless and look forward to some albums on a par with "Addicted to Music" and "Dedicated."

ATB is a genius. This album is a must have.

ATB is the alias of progressive house/trance DJ and producer André Tanneberger, a native of Freiberg, Germany, born in 1973. ATB's catchy, vocal-driven singles crossed over from clubs to mainstream pop radio, making him one of the most recognizable artists of trance's late-'90s/early-2000s commercial peak. He is best known for his first single, "9 PM (Till I Come)," a euphoric yet chilled-out progressive house instrumental featuring a smooth, distinctive guitar riff. This guitar sound became ATB's...
