His first release since leaving the Tôt ou Tard label for PIAS, French-Portuguese singer/songwriter Emmanuel Da Silva's fourth studio album, La Distance, eschews his trademark acoustic Gallic folk-pop in favor of a more atmospheric synth-based sound produced by Yann Arnaud (Air, Syd Matters).
