Album Review

Following their mainstream breakthrough album Gravé dans la Roche (2003) and its couple Top Ten hit singles, French rap group Sniper topped the charts with their third full-length effort, Trait Pour Trait (2006). Highlights include the hit single "Trait Pour Trait" and the controversial centerpiece "La France (Itineraire d'une Polemique)." In some ways less successful than Gravé dans la Roche, Trait Pour Trait was Sniper's last album for some time.

Rappers El Tunisiano (born Bachir Baccour) and Aketo (Ryad Selmi), dancehall toaster Black Renega (Karl Appela), and DJ Boudj originally adopted the moniker Personnalité Suspecte, but changed the name prior to the 2001 release of their debut album, Du Rire aux Larmes.
