EDITORS’ NOTES

Gosling and Stone knock these beautiful tunes out of the parkIn this OscarⓇ-winning soundtrack, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone play a jazz fanatic and an aspiring actress who get tangled up in a series of flirty, fiery, and sometimes heartbreaking duets. Roam around modern-day Los Angeles with them as they fall in love (“A Lovely Night”), redefine their art (“Start a Fire”), and struggle to pursue their dreams (“Audition (The Fools Who Dream)”) without sacrificing their relationship. Kudos to composer Justin Hurwitz for crafting an inventive, original score that’s as catchy as it is crushing.

Got to see this film at AFI and fell in love.

What a surprise

Gosling and Stone can sing actually very well as demonstrated perfectly on this superb collection of jazzy songs. The instrumentals perfectly provide breaks from some of the catchiest tunes you will hear all year. Can't wait until the movie comes out!

Great Soundtrack to a Great Movie

La La Land is the rare film that leaves the audience both devestated yet completely enamored by it. I was lucky enough to see an advanced screening and I went into the event ready to hate it but after all was said and done I left the theater a happy movie goer. The soundtrack is the perfect companion piece as it matches with the movie's theme and message. GO WATCH IT and then BUY THE SOUNDTRACK or at least ANOTHER DAY OF SUN.
