EDITORS’ NOTES

Gosling and Stone knock these beautiful tunes out of the parkIn this OscarⓇ-winning soundtrack, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone play a jazz fanatic and an aspiring actress who get tangled up in a series of flirty, fiery, and sometimes heartbreaking duets. Roam around modern-day Los Angeles with them as they fall in love (“A Lovely Night”), redefine their art (“Start a Fire”), and struggle to pursue their dreams (“Audition (The Fools Who Dream)”) without sacrificing their relationship. Kudos to composer Justin Hurwitz for crafting an inventive, original score that’s as catchy as it is crushing.

Best soundtrack EVER!!! Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are amazing!!!

I was fortunate enough to screen "La La Land" at two different film festivals. This original musical has the best, most emotional soundtrack I've heard in a long time!!! Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are fantastic!!!! "La La Land" is now my favorite movie and so is its soundtrack!!!!!

Unhappily travel

City of Stars: Haunting yet tuneful

Was fortunate to see a screening before the official opening here in LA and was WOWED by the music. In particular, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone's version of "City of Stars," (there's a single of just Gosling singing the song available on iTunes) is on an infinite loop in my car. I CANNOT stop humming it. The rest of the music (alread preordered it!) is a fantastic mixutre of jazz and throwback musicals that both the millenials and baby boomers will love. I plan on seeing the film multiple times but the music I'll be listening to FOREVER.
