He does it again!

Once again Jimmy brings it.

O.k. Sound

This cd has a couple of old school leads on the tejano songs with new lyrics. They sound akward in a way. However I do like Jimmy keeps bringing the old school cumbias back. Those cumbias have a specific taste to them that keep them on my top picks even throughout the years.I rated this cd 2 stars for a lack of originality on the music not the lyrics. Still a big fan of Jimmy and grupo Mazz. Also, I don't understand why David lee can't put his fills he is known for whenever he records with another band. His fills are totally different from his CDs to the ones he is as a feature. The bass player has a an awesome solidness to his playing, the keyboards are always precise when playing the old school songs, he combines new sound with old school jams. The drummer, a lefty just like me, he has a great attack on the snare and never seen him overplay any of his members. Good job brotha', percussions sound tight with the bass and drums, Jimmy still sings great and has an awesome strumming. Overall a good job guys for recording amanaci llorando, awesome cumbia. Thanks and God Bless. Bojo of La Formula Band
