Anna is amazing! Brava, Anna!

Of all her releases, this is my favorite Anna Tatangelo album. Anna has a silky, sensual voice that is immediately captivating. As noted by other reviewers, this album definitely reflects an evolution in Anna's singing. From her deeply heartfelt and personal "Il Mio Amico" to the sultry "Averti Qui," Anna has come a long way from the 15-year old sensation that she was at Sanremo.

The selections are adult contemporary. Gigi D'Alessio's influence is clearly evident, which may be a turn-off to some. The popular "Averti Qui" is my favorite single, although the light and breezy "Sorvolando" and "Mai Dire Mai" are great, too. Her duet with Michael Bolton was less than thrilling, however. She does a much better job singing "Il Mio Amico" on her own. (Her live performance of "Il Mio Amico" at Sanremo was great.)

Anna really came into her own with this album. If you enjoy Italian contemporary pop music, pick this album up. She continues to improve with her 2008 "Nel Mondo delle Donne." Too bad iTunes does not offer it in the United States.

Anna is wonderful!!.......

Anna Tatangelo has evolved into a classy and soulful singer. This album reflects alot of her. She is great and her voice is intoxicating!. You will love her the moment her voice hits your ears!!

Bellissimo canzoni...bellisima ragazza!!!

Born: Sora, Italy

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '00s

Italian pop star Anna Tatangelo was only 15 in 2002 when she won first place at the annual Sanremo Festival in the "New Arrivals" section, with her song "Doppiamente Fragili." Because of her age, it was decided to delay the release of her first record, and instead the young singer focused on building up her performance experience, appearing again at Sanremo the following year (where she was met with less favorable results) and in 2006, when her song "Essere una Donna" won in the "Women" category....
