Album Review

Released just weeks after their previous album, Los Extraterrestres, won Billboard's 2009 Latin Rhythm Album of the Year award, La Revolución finds reggaeton superstars Wisin & Yandel on a serious roll. After the opening title track suggests a futuristic concept album on the scale of Don Omar's 2009 release iDon, La Revolución slips into a much more standard album for the duo, which is hardly a disappointment. Bouncing between grand club numbers and smooth ballads, the overall structure is familiar to all returning fans, but just like Omar in 2009, the duo have become fans of euro-disco synths and urban dance music. The slick "Quitame El Dolor" stomps the ground like a Flo Rida cut while "Mujeres in the Club" creeps and swaggers in such a G-Unit way that special guest 50 Cent sounds right at home. On the other hand, a handful of cuts — "Perfecto" with Yaviah and Ivy Queen being the best — prove that the duo can still create vital and undiluted reggaeton as they please. Purists might balk at how they choose to do so but La Revolución is more about expanding the duo's sound while making sure that high quality control is still in effect.

La Evolucion

Wisin y yandel are by far the best reggaeton artist there is. They are able to do it again. La evolucion is a great album. For la revolucion they had 50 cent but now they brought out the bigger guns Akon and T-Pain. Ella me llama was a great track by adding akon to it on the remix made it even better. On imaginate they have T-Pain and this track is sick, just having T-Pain to do a track with you is amazing. The remix to gracias a ti with Enrique Iglesias showing off there soft side. I love all the new tracks. Sandungueo is that purro reggaeton track. Te Siento is an excellent track because wisin shows that he doesn't only rap that he can sing and yandel too shows that he doesnt only sing he can rap. Pasan Los Dias is a track that has a reggae bet which I really love it's such a sick beat. Desaparecio is the slow reggaeton track that is just great. Wisin y Yandel never disappoint me there untouchable no one can bet them. If you don't got this album or any of there album go get them cause there the kings of reggaeton el duo dinamico

I luv Wisin & Yandel

They are the best!!! Great Album!

Though Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel (born Juan Morera and Lladel Vegilla) were around for some time (their debut album, Reyes del Nuevo Milenio, was released in 2000) and gained fans and recognition with records like 2004's De Otra Manera and 2005's Mi Vida: La Pelicula, it wasn't until Pa'l Mundo hit the number one Latin album spot on the Billboard charts that they began to be recognized outside the Spanish-speaking community. That record, which featured guest appearances from reggaeton...
