Classical and Industrial meet in a wonderful fusion

This album is easily the best one I've ever bought on iTunes. I myself am a classically trained violinist, Emilie's work is quite impressive to say the least. Her control over tone and intonation is superb and her style and interpretation of the work places her preformances among the best I've heard (especially considering she was 15 while performing some of these). The Unlaced side drew me to it with the first 30 second clip. Such wonderful and dark music I had not heard. It is something you will not hear a lot of, and deserves a spot on a collection if only based on it's uniqueness. Emilie's music is both energetic and dark. It satisfied my love of classical music with a darker twist. Melodic, rhythmicly solid, and certainly of a darker nature, this album is one of my favorites. I was very upset when I learned it was a limited edition release and I couldn't find it in stores, but iTunes had me covered. Well worth the money!

I have never heard such enchanting, haunting melodies in my life. Emilie Autumn has created beauty by giving to us this wonderfully amazing instrumental double-disc feature which includes classic pieces along with some original ones she has written herself. i cannot thoroughly express how much i have fallen in love with EA's music. Utterly amazing. Utterly, Truly, Amazing!

So glad to see this album on iTunes!

Now, just put up Opheliac and Liar/Dead is the New Alive and iTunes'll have it. Emilie Autumn has an amazing talent for the violin, especially when you consider that some of these recordings are from when she was around fourteen or younger. Suggested tracks: Bach - Largo, Emilie Autumn - Willow, Corelli - la Folia, Unlaced, Manic Depression, and Face the Wall. Face the Wall in particular is absolutely drop-dead amazing. Although the first part (Laced) can get a bit dull after a while, you will never, ever get tired of Unlaced. Ever.

Singer/songwriter and instrumentalist Emilie Autumn is an eccentric, musical marvel who's been shaping her style since the age of two. Born September 22, 1979 to a seamstress mother, Autumn started reading notes before learning the alphabet. By age four, she was playing the violin. Her young life was spent in concert halls across Europe and North America, but Autumn grew bored of formal education before her teenage years set in. She attended the well-respected Colburn School of Performing Arts by...
