a powerhouse of rock

This album is a demonstration of a thoughtful perceptive mind at work on the guitar. Nothing is ever overplayed and the album rocks so hard with its range of different styles, from punk rock to alt-country. Anyone who's ever experienced listening to Eric "Roscoe" Ambel knows he's a master guitar player with an expertise in tone, and this album treats you to his signature style in grand fashion from start to finish.

Eric "Roscoe" Ambel

Lakeside is another masterpiece by Eric "Roscoe" Ambel. Roscoe has handled lead guitar duties for Joan Jett and the black hearts, Steve Earle and the Dukes and Del Lords. He has produced the dBs, Nils Lofgren, Jimbo Mathus and Sarah Borges. He is a roots rock master and every track on this album is a masterpiece. Turn it up!

Great Raw Rock & Roll

Great songs, great performances and masterful guitar playing by the one & only Eric Ambel. It's raw rock music with a little bit of twang & blues. I dig it. You will too.
