Genius

The guy was a tormented & brilliant composer in the vein of Nick Drake, Tim Hardin, John Lennon. Lucky I've been to see him in concert in the 90's, singing a cover of the Beatle's "I'll Be Back". I urge you to give a chance to songs such as "Sleepy City" and "There's a light up in the sky". When his debut album "Rise Above" is re-released, there's gonna be another light up in the sky.

Perhaps best known as a co-founder of British post-punkers Swell Maps, Epic Soundtracks reinvented himself as an eccentric, critically acclaimed piano balladeer during the '90s. Soundtracks — who trademarked his stage name, forcing Epic Records' soundtrack division to change its spelling to "Soundtrax" — was born Kevin Paul Godfrey in Croydon, England, on March 23, 1959 (although several sources list Paul Godley).
