Album Review

More textured and funkier than their debut album, Zhane's second record Saturday Night is an infectious set of percolating funk, club beats, and new jack harmonies. The songs aren't always as strong as the performances, but Zhane's vocal charisma makes such shortcomings forgivable.

Another Awesome Album Slept On!!!!!!!

Belive it or not this album is better than the first one. It has the same feel as the first album. Just 2 beautiful women singing there hearts out to bring U the best music possible. I'm surpise more Zhane fan haven't left a reveiw for this album. Songs like So Badd, Just Like That & Last Dance are classic stepper cuts. The remake of Billy Joel For The Longest Time just shows that there is someone out there still cares about good music!!! GREAT ALBUM 5 STAR 4-SHO!!!!!!!

Very good music!

These girls can sing. In fact, I enjoyed these songs so much that I purchased them for a second time. I lost the CD and now I've repurchased it from itunes.

Zhane did again with this album

In their sophmore album, Zhane showed that they could in deed recreate and surpass the magic of their 1st album. This album plays like a good wine and plays excellent from start to finish. Unfortunately, we were deprived of future Zhane projects for whatever reason. There are not many artist today in the 2000's that can hold a candle to these ladies. The melodies, the production, the meaning of the lyrics and the vocals once again highlight the talent of these ladies and reminds us how far R&B has declined. Like many true Zhane fans, I wish they would come back!

Given a high-profile spot on the all-star compilation Roll Wit tha Flava as their first recording opportunity, Zhané lived up to the pressure and came away with one of the R&B party anthems of the '90s, "Hey, Mr. DJ." Jean Norris and Renee Neufville met while both were studying music at Philadelphia's Temple University (Norris is originally from Rhode Island, Neufville from Brooklyn). After meeting Naughty by Nature's Kay Gee, Zhané impressed the producer enough to go right into the studio to record...
