Gary Hoey is a *fun* player

You don't listen to Gary to be inspired by technical proficiency. You listen because he knows how to make a Strat sound GREAT. Gary's no slouch. He's got serious chops. Although he occasionally leans toward cheese in his covers, he continually makes playing something that it should be - fun. I love playing along with him. His music is accessible and it always sounds FANTASTIC. I saw Gary live at a guitar store in Baltimore when the G-Dec 3 was released. I bought one that night. He's humble and find loving. Much respect to Gary.
