Angelic Noir with Attitude

A unique combination of a mellow surf guitar juxtaposed to the voice of an ethereal Blondi. Imagine the Aqua Velvets with more powerful reverb and an awesome drummer. Has to be some of the best guitars in the genre with incredible depth of feeling and range of expression. Recommended tracks include: the sad and slow “Take Me Away” and “The Night and You,” the haunting “Sirens,” sultry “Venus Burlesque,” to rocking “AWOL.” The groups name "Lost Patrol" fits the music perfectly by capturing a powerful longing -- a driven sense of searching but unfulfilled purpose. Unlike, their earlier work, which also included instrumentals that added variety, the vocalist does not have the same range as the band, so when she is on all the tracks it can get a bit repetitive. Check out the other albums as well.

Cool mix of twang and goth

Great sound, interesting melodies. Love 'em.
