Most refreshing heavy album in recent memory

With Laurestine, So Hideous has taken me on an auditory journey I've needed for a long time. When most heavy music bands are trying to reach the next level of "heaviness" or capitalize on the latest trend, So Hideous focuses on an experience filled with wonderful composition that melts away expectation rising above and beyond the mediocrity plaguing heavy music and many of its sub-genres. Laurestine is an achievement most bands wish they could accomplish... A timeless piece of music the world doesn't know it desperately needs.

Whoever mixed this album was on drugs

The instrumentals and very nice and unique but what makes the album absolutely UNBEARABLE is the mixing. These pristine and wonderful riffs are overshadowed by a terrible vocal mix and the singer in general is just bad. It sounds as if someone had the singer go to the top of a mountain and yell "BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" and "RAHHHHHHHHHHHH" over and over again and then just insert that into the song. This album is awful and not worth the money at all.
