Album Review

Hilary Weeks follows her Pearl award winning debut with an album that outdoes her first. From start to finish, the 12 songs on Lead Me Home inspire, move, and uplift the faithful. Touching on topics such as Christ's guidance, repentant hearts, and knowledge of the gospel, Weeks consistently carries the theme of spirituality. The album begins with the catchy "He Will," which touches on Christ's steadfastness at the side of his disciples. This is followed by the title ballad "Lead Me Home," which discusses the anticipation of returning home to the Heavenly Father. And so it goes on through the entire album. Sure to be a favorite at church socials will be the very upbeat and uplifting "Unseen Hands," which Weeks penned on the strength of Christ's hands providing unseen guidance to the faithful. All in all, Lead Me Home is another awardworthy effort from the established songwriter and singer. ~ Dacia A. Blodgett-Williams, Rovi
