give it a listen!!!

most music heads may not realize that this is a collaboration of Bob Mould and Richard Morel. Morel is a genius house music producer/artist. 'Saturday Night All The Time' will keep the dancefloor packed!!!

Mould and Morel totally rock

This is an amazing album. Great follow up to Mould's Modulate album (which was way underappreciated). I've grown up listening to Bob Mould since Husker Du days so I am probably biased, but he just gets better and better every new album. Morel is new to me, but I am totally convinced. Thanks Bob & Richard.

Classic plus Ultra

The Morel sung ballads are peerless. Melodies strung out to... Peerless. The melodics/harmonics on Man Keeps Winning (actually Mould on the verses) and the Mark Dirt have a world of their own. A lot of this record is incredible atmospherics. Containing substantial music though. I've really enjoyed the last few Mould records (production on those incred too) especially DistrictLine, but also be happy to hear another Blowoff.
Other things I've been listening too recently: the last few Ministry records (Jorg doing speed metal) and a lot of Haydn Beethoven trios and quartets.

While Mould made his name with hard-edged guitar-based rock,...
