Don't blow too hard on this; it may crumble. I miss Absolutes.

Boo! What happened to Barcelona?

This is a huge let down - I am a huge fan but this is not the Barcelona I fell in love with. I am extremely dissatisfied by this ablum.

Holy crap, these guys are good. Fans of Absolutes won't be disappointed.

Been a fan since the Brian Fennell days. Each album has gotten progressively better. Absolutes was one of the few albums where I can say all their songs were good. Most other music artists release albums, but you only listen to one or two songs, while the rest are "fillers". Barcelona is different - Every song is great, they spend time crafting each one, putting all their effort into it.

This is my second listen-through tonight through this album. So far, I can say that every song is fantastic, and deserves a thoughtful, deep listen. In "Not Quite Yours", Barcelona takes what make Absolutes so great while experimenting with new sounds and styles. In addition, I feel as if they have revived themes found in their "Safety Songs" album.

Great album. I am still wondering why the hell these guys aren't any more popular than they are. Keep rocking on Barcelona.

Initially, the trio focused on a more acoustic indie pop sound, an approach they showcased on their 2007 debut, Absolutes, and 2012 sophomore effort, Not Quite Yours. In 2013,...
