Someone Wating Home

Had this album on cassette! Someone Wating Home is the best kept secret on this joint! Sho wished it wasn't a secret, though. Smooth love song..real smooth..


This is a good album; but if your going to listen to a Shannon album, get the album "Love Goes All The Way" (1986) (which iTunes does not carry.) The album "Love Goes All The Way" features my favorite songs "Prove Me Right" and "Love Goes All The Way" and "Faces In The Crowd"; and it is one of my all-time favorite albums. I hope ITunes puts this album up.


Thanks ITunes for finally finding these! Dub versions are great since my 12" singles are a little too old now. Prove Me Right CD with some bonus tracks next???

Born Brenda Shannon Greene in 1958, Shannon spent her childhood years in Washington, D.C., and New York City's Brooklyn borough. While attending college, she joined the New York Jazz Ensemble as a singer, which led to a chance meeting with drummer Lenny White and some recording sessions. One single, 1983's "Let the Music Play," was issued on the New York-based dance label Emergency as a 12" single with Shannon listed as the artist.
