Good, Minus One Song

I think it is great for our children to be educated via music, since it is a language everyone understands. However, the song needs to be truthful if it is used for education purposes. The song 'Civil War' speaks of the war fought over slavery and the Emancipation Proclamation ending slavery. Nothing is further from the truth! I hope the creators of this project will read this and consider re-doing that song as it is just as offensive as slavery itself.

Song is meant to start dialogue

Cool reggae vibe. The song asks the question, "What did Americans fight each other for?" This will start a discussion about the various aspects of the Civil War. DavBart needs to remember that there is only so much one can discuss in a 3 minute song.

I learned the 50 states song in third grade and it was very catchy. Everyone was singing it. We had a test on all of the states and I got 100 because I knew the song so well. I only rated it 4 stars because they try to make it sound cooler than it really is
