iTunes Review

There’s never been a comedy record quite like Live from New York. Then again, there’s never been a comedian quite like Gilda Radner. Unleashing many of her beloved characters, including Roseanne Roseannadanna and Candy Slice, the stand-up utilizes the one-person show to flesh out her loopy mix of song, dance, and humor. Her potty-mouthed innocence pulls the rug out from under the audience; so do pop parodies like “Honey (Touch Me with My Clothes On),” a cheeky yet tender reminiscence on teen love.

Gilda is my idol, and even thought she passed away years before I was even born I feel that through watching her on SNL and her movies and the play that we were best friends. Gilda is my role model and my hero and this album shows just how talented she truly was. We love you Gilda RIP<3

She is truly an icon. Forever my favorite comedienne. Her spirit lives on through her work, without a doubt.

Referred to as the Sweetheart of American Comedy, her characterizations of snot-nosed geek (predecessor...
