Perfect, as Always!

For years I thought Frank Martin's acapella setting of the Mass text would reign unchallenged as the definitive standard. Yet, Rene Clausen's setting certainly stands in its own right. Clausen has been a great favorite of mine for years, and it is a true shame that many more professional choirs have not issued recordings of his work. I could not be more excited with all of the attention the Kansas City and Phoneix Chorales have been getting since their Grammy debut - well deserved and long overdue! This is another smash hit recording. Charles, keep them coming!

Impeccable intonation, super-clear diction, and a beautiful interpretation of René Clausen's best-loved works. A must-own album for the choral music fanatic!
