iTunes Review

Musiq Soulchild’s voice is like a finely-tuned instrument—always in the pocket, seasoned with finesse and grit. Life on Earth is honest, hand-holding soul. While “Heart Away” has cracking snares and “Loving You” elevates into noir territories, “Changed My Mind” and “Alive and Well” have that Musiq Soulchild pop, soundtracking the ecstatic highs and trembling lows of relationships.

Musiq Soulchild can always be depended on to offer something fresh and out of the box compared to much of the stale current R&B. He's come through again...

SOUL MAN !

Musiq has proven time and time again ,that he is undoubtedly this generation's Donny Hathaway. The way he navigates around a tune, his voice is a seperate instrument with so many chords,he displays his vocal dexterity on tracks like "Loving You' my new favorite ballad and the title track "Life On Earth". This is black music, this is Stevie, this is Donny,This is SOUL music, this is music from the heart.

And there it is is...

This right here is the MUSIQ we've been missing. That sound that makes you STOP and reminisce. Two thumbs way up.
