One of My Favorite Albums Ever

Light Music for Dying People is in my opinion the greatest unknown album of all time. Tom Barnes is an excellent lyricist and brings a unique vocal style to the table. Fans of Counting Crows will recognize Adam Duritz oustanding back-up vocals in a number of these songs, and die-hard Crows fans will recognize some of the lyrics. David Immergluck also lends his unconventional but masterful sounds to the album. Sordid Humor's use of two bass players allows for much creativity and a very full sound. This album is worth every cent of the $9.99 they're asking for it; I paid 30 dollars for the physical CD before it was added to iTunes. CC fans should definitely have at least Doris Day and Private Archipelago in their library. All in all, a beautiful album with no weakpoints.

So glad it's on iTunes

I requested this on iTunes years ago and here it is. One of my favorite albums, which of course met it's demise in college. Highly recommended. Guitar riff driven music, coupled with odd lyrics and catchy melodies. Barbarossa and Private Archipelago are must haves.

How Did I Not Know This Existed??

This cd is awesome. Heard someone talking about it the other day and had to check it out.
I was blown away. Wish these guys were still around.
