MUST HAVE FOR HORROR ROCK FANS!!

No, horror punk/rock DOESN'T have to sound like the Misfits!! FASHION OF FEAR has grown into one of my favorite albums ever. It's is a diverse collection featuring Nim Vind's distinctive voice and an incredible songwriting style that definitely delivers the spookitude without all the horror rock cliches (if you've sampled enough horror rock/punk, you KNOW what cliches I'm referring to!) Nim Vind is otherwise know as Chris Kirkham, bass god and songwriter for the Vincent Black Shadow (go buy FEARS IN THE WATER, too!) If you dig FASHION OF FEAR, be on the lookout for THE STILLNESS ILLNESS, the new Nim Vind disc that should be slouching from the shadows soon!

DON'T SLEEP!!

I don't even know what catagory Nim Vind is. But I will say, this is one of my favorite albums ever. And judging from the sneak peek's of the next one, there is no love lost. The vocals are phenominal. The music is amazing. And it's all genuine, you can tell for yourself, there is no room for question. I truly believe Nim Vind will go down as one of the 'GREATS'. I hope the whole world gets to experience this band, it is much deserved.

Great Stuff

If you're a fan of horrorpunk, you should definitely grab this one. It's not your typical HP, which is where its strength lies. The vocals are incredible and remind me of everything from Peter Murphy to David Bowie to Danzig era Misfits. While it will always be impossible to escape the sheer influence of The Misfits, this album shows that it's possible to pull away from that influence and be successfully different, while still remaining horrorpunk. Favorites: The Fashion of Fear, Killer Creature Double Feature, Astronomicon.
