A noble score from the legendary Jerry Goldsmith

This gorgeous thematic film score of the 1980s was the last collaboration between composer Jerry Goldsmith and the late director Franklin J. Schaffner. The music is at times exciting, regal, and very moving. In telling the story of a failed knight named Robert Nerra and his redemption, composer Goldsmith combines a wealth of material for symphony and electronics, creating an atmosphere of heroic and mystical passages. Tracks like "The Lake" and "The Banner" are stand out highlights.

Amazing Score!

The music score to this film I had never seen before was very catchy. After listening to the entire album around 3+ times the music drove me to the point that I had to find and buy the movie. I now own both and really enjoy the fantastical elements of these tunes. Great 1980s Fantasy genre music.
