When I bought this album, I expected a goofy but fun jazz album that would eventually fail as a true music expeirience. COMPLETELY WRONG. Forget all you knew because this album reset what I called "music" and created an entire world in a mere six tracks that more than most albums could never be brought close to in 20+ tracks. A seamless mixture of jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and just a pinch of the surreal and imaginative. It's as if you attempted to time travel back to the 50's but you crash and get stuck in a wonderful world between past and present. This album proves that it's not quantity that matters, but quality. A must have! Can't wait for more from "Free the Robots" !

oooh whaa

after listening to this, i had to free my pants off and dream of robots.

True classics have the ability to transcend time and this EP should absolutely prove to be no exception. In the sea that is Electronica with all of its sub-categories for this EP to stand out is a feat that is not going unnoticed. What’s more is to get me interested enough to write this review…now THAT is really amazing. This EP is worth WAAY more than the cost. This is Ol’-Skool + Noo-Skool multiplied by Jazzy + Groovy = Fresh, Infectious and Addictive! If sound waves were drugs this would be crack for your ears! Only down note is when a debut starts off this strong… where do you go from here!?!
