This is the debut album of singer, songwriter D. Edward. Although no newcomer to the music scene, he also plays percussion with 70's funk group Con Funk Shun and has been in groups with the likes of Genevieve Goings of Disney Channel's Choo Choo Soul, Terry Bradford, who was Celine Dion's duet singer, World class producer Joel Jaffe, Grammy nominated producer PC Muñoz, among others.
Keep Loving You features Stevie Wonder's keyboardist, Victoria Theodore and on There She Goes and The Passage, Con Funk Shun's Ron Moton plays some very tasty Sax solos. Paul Hunt on Guitar, Amy Nix plays the piano solo on The Passage, Brian Abbott and Keni Williams bring up the bottom on Bass, Omega Rae, who has worked with Goapele and Martin Luther, sings backing vocals on It Must Be Love and vocalist Tamara Green and drummer Kevin Williams join in on Homeward Bound.
The song There She Goes is dedicated to the Women Air Force Service Pilots of WWII. They were the 1st women to fly for the US Air Force. In 2009, they were honored with a US Congressional Gold Medal.
I think you'll love this album once you hear it!

As a professional musician, I've always adhered to the saying "there are only 2 types of music - good & bad…I like good music". Good music this is. Plain and simple. D. Edward has a talent for catchy melodies and touching lyrics. The soulful singing is right up there with fellow soul singers like, Kem, Brian McKnight or Al Jarreau. Great mood music as well. Do yourself a favor, buy this album. It supports an independent artist and when your friends say, "who is this?", you'll be able to tell them YOU found it!
