Album Review

Little Victories was recorded with pop producer Richard Gottehrer; while far removed from country music, it stands among Smith's most mature and ambitious work.

I was in a record store in the early 90's. The staff played this album rather than the usual punk/new wave/ new music noise used to show how cool they were. By the third song, I was hooked and bought the tape and wore it out playing it. The songs still sound as fresh today as they did fifteen years ago. Darden is one of the most unrecognized artists around.

Disc that introduced me to Darden's talents

Got it as a promo in a record store way back when and haven't stopped playing it since. Darden is very talented song writer who in a perfect world would be a lot more popular than he is. Dream's A Dream is my favorite cut but entire disc is great....hole in the river is second best.

One of my all-time favorite albums

I walked down the aisle to Days On End when I got married - it was the perfect love song. This is a great great album!
