Album Review

Live features the Cadillac Tramps performing a selection of the best material from their Dr. Dream albums (which were out of print at the time of this release). Recorded at the Galaxy in Orange County, Live does an excellent job of summing up the first part of the band's career.

The best live band in the land

I've seen the 'Tramps five times, and they are hands down the best live band ever to come out of the West Coast. Ever! Any band who became anything in LA has opened up for the Tramps, and their original guitarist Johnny Wickersham went on to play with Social Distortion. This album does a fine job of capturing the pure raw energy of the 'Tramps, and is a great representation of songs from their three previous studio records. All are out of print, so if this is all you can nab, quit reading this and download now!

A Flood of Great Memories

The Cadillac Tramps were one of the great LA punk bands of the 90s. Incredible shows. Passionate fans. This is definitely the tightest recording I've heard and it does a great job of capturing the energy of a live performance. I haven't seen them in years, but listening to this put a huge smile on my face. I just wish there was more of the their other work available.

1993, 1994 at the Palomeno in N. Hollywood!

I used to love to catch the C. T. headline the Palomeno back in the early to mid 90's. Some unknown band would open and Dick Dale would always be the warm up band before the tramps came on. I miss this band alot, out of a whole blur of shows in the early 90's they stood out.
