Editors’ Notes

It’s a testimony to Joe Pug’s exceptional gifts as a singer/songwriter that he comes across best onstage armed only with acoustic guitar and harmonica. Live at Lincoln Hall documents him performing such standout originals as “Messenger,” “How Good You Are,” “I Do My Father’s Drugs,” and “Nation of Heat” with the same blend of defiance and vulnerability that has won him a faithful cult of devotees. Pug’s trenchant wit and innate humanity marks him as a worthy inheritor of the Guthrie/Dylan folk troubadour tradition, as this live showcase makes resoundingly clear.

Epic album. It's a must buy

Outstanding

Like finding a hidden treasure. At $4.99 you'd be crazy NOT to get this. Joe Pug is the real deal.

Mr. Pug

I saw Joe in Bloomington, IN the night before this show was recorded.. He sounded amazing. I'm glad Strand of Oaks is on this live album. They complement each other very well. I listen to this album at least once a week. It will always be a favorite...

The boys were able to deliver a presentable version of a tune from the first Foo Fighters...
