On the bill with the Beatles

This album was actually recorded New Years Eve 1962/63 with the Beatles being the opening act for Johnny and the Hurricanes on that bill. I love this album for its authenticity.

Recording techniques were not as sophisticated back then for live performances, but you got to love this album for it's feel. I was not even born then, but I can envision the atmosphere at the legendary Hamburger Star Club just by listening to this album!
