Voice of Heart

This album shoots Lurie's (John & Evan) and the rest of the Lounge Lizards out from the cool snaps of cinematic silver black & white, in exchange for charged polychromes of cinged emotions. The sweat of the set's pulse brings me back to when characters of Luc Santes' Lower East Side still inhabited the streets. A guy in a suite, worth his weight in salt, could hock anything from his brass to his piece; our chicks looked like dames, their hair set free and their brasiers were atomic. Cortland @ White were gone; troubles made way for the dough; John Luries reede sounded the last cry of our society. The dancers were drawn by David Salle but we were colored in by jean Michel Basquiat to the music of the Lounge Lizards.....
