Parallels the work of pop-rock icons, Paul McCartney and Billy Joel

Singer-songwriter-pianist Jeff Michaels proves to be a talented songcrafter, player and singer on his new album Lost In Boston. Written over the span of three years, Michaels' all encompassing, life changing shift in 2008 spawned most of the songs as well as a name change for his band from Even Elroy, to simply, Jeff Michaels. Joined by bandmates Ben Reynolds on bass, drummer Bill Zuck and guitarist Chris Teffner, Michaels lays the groundwork for an energetic offering that parallels the work of pop-rock icons, Paul McCartney and Billy Joel. Michaels also enlists Joseph Stevens on sax, trumpet & clarinet, Jason Brewer on drums, Chris Klein on saxophone, Kevin White on bass, Megan Slankard on vocals, Dylan Brock on ukulele and The Days Fall Choir: Clara Becker, Serena Richard, Ruby Noto, Tess Veiga & Lilly Glickman to enhance the tracks of this well recorded disc. Tracks of note: the R&B swagger of "Best Thing," the punky "Ordinary Life," Jeff's spot-on remake of The Monkees hit, "Daydream Believer," and the fingersnappin' jive of "Never Had It This Bad. (Brian Owens, Metronome Magazine)
